What is HYDROSMART

HYDROSMART is a new and innovative technology that uses some of the latest advances in particle physics research, to provide effective!, affordable!, and chemical free! solutions to the problems caused by minerals and chemicals that are present in our water supplies.

This research has now established that scale formation and corrosion problems are both related to the 'electron bonding' mechanism, (an attraction between the opposite poles of the outer orbiting electrons of adjacent molecules).

HYDROSMART utilizes a series of computer generated resonance frequencies to confuse electron polarity. This neutralizes the bonding ability of any minerals or chemicals present in the flow and scale formation ceases.

The resonance frequencies are focused in the flow, via antennae, wound in tight coils around the treated water pipe. There are no flow restrictions. These frequencies remain active in water for at least 7-10 days and progressively break down the bonds of any scale already formed. All pipes and equipment connected to the treated flow, becomes scale free within a three month period.

Without their bonding mechanism, large mineral crystals become unstable and reduce to tiny sub 4 micron particles. This tiny particle size enables the flow to assume the properties of soft water and makes possible a wide range of commercial, agricultural, lifestyle and health benefits. These include scale, mould and algae removal, enhanced plant growth, and viable crops, in high salinity bore water.

Benefits from the resonance frequencies

Chemical free scale prevention
Chemical free scale prevention: The resonance frequencies in the treated flow prevent any minerals bonding together to form crystals. No crystals! No scale!

Corrosion and Chloride Attack
Both are due to chemical reactivity between metals and aggressive chemical compounds in the water supply. Chemical reaction is also a consequence of electron bonding, which is largely neutralized by the resonance frequencies. Bio-film and Stain Removal: Both bio-films and stains are trapped by the mineral deposits (scale) that builds up on our sinks, pipes, ponds and drains. By removing the scale, there is no longer any substrate for stains and bio-films to adhere to. The same process is responsible for progressively cleaning up ceramic, stainless steel and glass surfaces that are in contact with the treated water.

Bacterial Control:
There is now a substantial body of evidence pointing to significant effects on bacteria by the Hydrosmart treated water. These range from exceptionally low bacterial counts at food production facilities to prolonged shelf life of the food products (from 10-17 days).
SA Dental service uses Hydrosmart as a first line in their infectious diseases control on its drill beds at several SA school clinics since 2003. Benefits due to particle size

Commercial flows of soft water
Hard water contains high levels of large mineral crystals which have to be overcome before detergency can take place. By breaking these large crystals into tiny particles, lathering takes place immediately.

Cleaner clothes, softer garments
The minerals are now so small that they will pass through any known fabric weave giving excellent washing results. Large crystals and dirt are no longer trapped in the garments, greatly reducing the need for chemical fabric softeners which can block up drains and burden our waste water treatment plants.

Algae & Mould:
It has now been established that both algae and mould require a particle size bigger than 6-8 microns to form on or attach to. As Hydrosmart removes all mineral deposits and reduces all particles below 4 microns, there is nothing for algae and mould to form on, or cling to.
One of Adelaide's oldest cemetaries eliminated its algae outbreak in the summer of 2001 from its large bore water supplied duck pond within 3 weeks by using HYDROSMART. Health Benefits:
A variety of health benefits result from the progressive removal of scale deposits and bio-films which are the breeding ground for algae, bacteria and fungi (e.g. shower mould produces air-borne spores that can affect asthma suffers.) Other fungal formations including dandruff and athlete's foot also require large crystals to form on and cannot survive on the tiny particles produced by Hydrosmart.

Enhanced plant growth:
Two years of independent scientific research has proved that there is a significant improvement in plant growth and a corresponding reduction in growing problems on plants, irrigated with Hydrosmart treated water. This is largely due to the minerals in the treated flow being changed into a form readily available to the plant.
Healthy plants from high salinity water: It is now possible to grow healthy plants in salinity levels which were formally considered toxic to plant growth ( so far up to 10-15,000 ppm ). Commercial crops are viable in highly mineralised bore water which was previously considered unfit for propagation. Applications for primary producers

Chemical free scale prevention & de-scaling
HYDROSMART resonance frequencies inhibit electron bonding and prevent crystals combining to form scale. These frequencies remain active in water for up to 7-10 days and progressively break down existing scale. Without their bonding ability, large mineral crystals become unstable and collapse to sub 4 micron particles. These easily pass through drippers and filters commonly used in irrigation. This eliminates the need for acid de-scaling and produces substantial savings in time, labour, filters and equipment costs.

Removal of algae & fungal formations
Most algae and fungal formations need particles greater than 8 microns to form on. As Hydrosmart treatment reduces all particles below 4 microns, there is no substrate for the organisms to cling to and the algae and mould progressively disappears along with the mineral deposits.

Enhanced plant growth & reduced growing problems
A significant improvement in plant growth and a reduction in growing problems has been achieved, whenever HYDROSMART is used to treat irrigation systems. The break down of large complex crystals such as sodium chloride into a tiny particle form, has facilitated the uptake of calcium, magnesium and potassium which are essential for healthy plant growth. The tiny calcium particles are easily transported throughout the plant, eliminating growing problems such as 'tipburn', whilst significantly improving fresh weight, taste colour and shelf life.

Improved brix and baume levels
Essential minerals in the bore water are now small enough to be easily absorbed into the plant. This significantly increases the Brix levels, (from 5.5 to 7.0 in the 'Suntec' hydroponic tomato trials). Many vineyards using Hydrosmart treatment to de-scale irrigation equipment, are reporting significant increases in Baume levels allowing the fruit to be picked on the full with greater harvest tonnages.
